Ingredients:
– 3 cucumbers – 1/2 tsp. salt. – 1 tbsp. sugar. – 4 tbsp. apple or white vinegar – 4 tbsp. water – 1 tsp. turmeric (can be omitted) – 1 tsp. nutmeg – some leeks – 1 tbsp. grain mustard – 1/3 chili – 1 bay leaf
Step 1
Wash the cucumbers and pat them dry with a cloth. Cut them into circle slices.
Step 2
Remove the seeds from the chili and slice it into circles. Chop the leeks.
Step 3
Place the cucumbers and dry spices in a microwave-safe bowl. Pour in the water and vinegar—microwave on high for 3.5 minutes.
Step 4
Carefully stir the contents of the bowl (it will be hot) and microwave for another 3.5 minutes.
